Torey Ronhovde
Torey is a singer/songwriter, playing guitar, bass, didjeridoo, and a number of other instruments. He was born and raised here in the Phoenix Valley, and has been teaching music for 9+ years. He has his BA from ASU West, and has authored 4 music instruction books.
A verse from his original song 'Open Tree,' "Sometimes gifts appear as flaws," will be featured on a banner at Sarasota Bay, FL during the 2-month Embracing Our Differences Festival this spring.
Though currently a solo artist, Torey has been in several bands, among them 32 Leaves and Soul on Strings. He is a studio musician and has had the pleasure to work and record with a number of AZ musicians and artists.
Torey was taught by Hall of Fame musician Al Casey (Nancy Sinatra, Elvis) and Fender clinician Ray Riendeau. Torey's grandparents were traveling country western musicians, so music isn't just his passion, it's in his genes. Torey and his music can be found on Twitter @ToreyRonhovde and on Facebook at facebook.com/ToreyRonhovde. Torey lives with his artist wife Amy and their 7 goofy kitty cats in Peoria, AZ.
